Each day they publish a new offer (typically a book or subscription, though they just gave away a one day engagement with a consulting group); if the offer appeals to you log in, answer a couple of questions - to prove you're a real, live person - and submit your entry. More impressive than the free book is the word of mouth they've generated in the online community over the past two or three weeks. Frankly, before bloggers started hyping IBR, I had never heard of 800CEORead.com. And now I suspect there are a lot of us who are aware of the company and visit the IBR site daily to see what's on offer. Not a bad return on the cost of a simple Web site and a few books.
